Serious gap in our Team at CHURT COMMUNITY LUNCHES - our super cook is retiring after 17 years and we need a replacement, OR 4 people with an interest in cooking to join a monthly rota.
Our village amenity has successfully provided a social centre for the over 60s of Churt and Rushmoor on a weekly basis for over 32 years, but…
Support is again needed from our caring village to help us build on that success – so if you have an interest in cooking and can spare a few hours during Monday lunchtimes (from 10.30am), please ring Organiser Jenny Silvester (01428 714034), who will be delighted to hear from you.
We moved to our new venue at the lovely old Quinnettes Barn in the New Year and this offers a well-equipped kitchen for food preparation. We are a registered charity run by a team of local volunteers, but we have always paid our cooks a modest remuneration and our Organiser will be pleased to answer any questions you may have on this or any other aspect of the job.
